    Great post, as usual! Just one quick question: How do you feel about philosophies like IF, carb-cycling, carb back loading for athletes or more specifically,in my case, a baseball player?

      Hey Hunter,

      First off, thanks for the kind words.

      I’ve used them all in some degree, I really think its a matter of preference.
      But if you are going to try IF, especially if you do it Renegade Style or Lean Gains style, you better be able to cram it in at night to meet your caloric needs. The fighter I train played around with IF and he wasn’t gettign his calories in at night and his performance suffered greatly.

      I honestly don’t see a huge difference between carb cycling and carb back loading, they are essentially the same thing. I think they both work and can be applied with athletes.
