    Awsome i cant wait to do the same with my daughter shes 6 and we bear crawl round the house together and she ask me to teach her excersises . Im not a coach but i have taught her how to do a proper push up a plank and a brigde. Love it

  2. Great article Tom!!! I teach a group of young male dancers, ages 9-11 during the year and although I am limited with equipment (we work in the dance studio), I work with them on the same exact things that you mention in your article. Their warm up consists of jumping jacks, inchworms, power skips, side shuffles, monster walks. We do bw squats, split squats, planks, eccentric push ups. We throw the medicine ball, do ball slams, jump over cones and throw the reaction ball (although it turns into more ‘Go long!’)

    I recently wrote an article for a parenting publication here in my hometown of Baltimore on strength training for kids. I pasted the link to it at the bottom. I am planning on working with the boys more this summer at my gym and would love to incorporate some of your work with Kendra into their program as I have more resources here. 😉
